Honolulu Recovery Systems brings recycling truck to UHM

Honolulu Recovery Systems' MOBILE HI-5 REDEMPTION CENTER is on campus three days a week now, so come on over to recycle your cans and bottles and retrieve your nickel for every container!

The current schedule is: every Monday, noon-4 pm, Hale Aloha-Mokihana Tower; every Wednesday, 9 am-3 pm, Ewa side of POST building; every Friday, noon-4 pm, Hale Aloha-Lokelani Tower.

The Mobile HI-5 Redemption Center will take aluminum, plastic and glass beverage containers. Please RINSE THEM OUT, and REMOVE THE CAPS BUT NOT THE LABELS.

Very soon, Honolulu Recovery Systems will add Tuesday and Thursday to the days its redemption center is on campus, so UHM will have a mobile HI-5 collection facility EVERY WEEKDAY!

Future days and locations will include: every Tuesday, time TBA, on McCarthy Mall near Webster; every Thursday, time TBA, makai side of Kennedy Theatre.
